IT Manager, Healthcare, Orlando
SKILL AND JOB REQUIREMENTS
● Collaborate with other team members to create and maintain an effective and optimized processes for each departmental team and staff
● With assistance from outside IT providers, grow and expand the companies cyber security program
● Monitor and ensure networks, processes, and solutions meet industry, state, and local
compliance, including executing a HIPAA Security Assessment and remediation, annually
● Collaborate with outside consultants and GRL management on the maintenance and
development of IT related policies, procedures, and standards.
● Serve as an ongoing support resource for day-to-day use of solutions and processes; monitor use
and effectiveness and recommend ways to improve processes through solutions and processes
● Manage the overall portfolio of the companies technology hardware, software, and solutions
● Attend regular weekly and monthly departmental meetings as requested by management
● Develop and report weekly and monthly IT status reports as requested by management
● Maintain healthy relationships with other departmental directors and supervisors
● Monitor the performance of 3rd party partners, vendors, and suppliers
● Research and recommend solutions and services, as needed
● Plan and track IT related activities and projects
● Collaborate with outside IT partners, suppliers and other agencies on IT related projects and
process improvements,
● Help keep the CEO and other leaders up to date on program execution and performance
● With assistance from outside IT providers and other team members, generate weekly and
monthly IT help desk and quality assurance metrics showing all incidents, requests, and outages,
including root cause analysis and problem resolution statements as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
● Minimum of 3-5 years-experience managing or leading an IT department and programs for a small company
● Familiarity and competency with Microsoft 365 suite of applications and capabilities tools
● Experience with managing IT related contracts
● Strong knowledge of Clinical Laboratory workflows
● Experience configuring laboratory information system end-to-end workflows including order to
collections
● Experience with customer portal development & management
● Experience in discovering, planning, and implementing optimized business processes
● Experience in managing planning and managing projects, desired
● Familiarity and knowledgeable with networking related concepts
● Understanding of the diagnostics industry is a requirement
● Knowledge of healthcare markets and an understanding of clinician and patient customer needs
and dynamics
● Strong interest in working in a start-up environment and the ability to take on a range of work at
once
● Excellent collaboration and communication skills and ability to present to company colleagues
and leaders
● Understanding of ITIL terminology and concepts, desired
● Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work, including achieving assigned
timelines for deliverables
● Proactive work style and willingness to take initiative (with proper guidance from managers)
● Professionalism and dedication to respecting colleagues, customers, partners, vendors, and
other stakeholders
